Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters. To strengthen this bond, Salwan Montessori School conducted a special assembly on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, where teachers enacted a story to help children understand the significance of celebrating Raksha Bandhan. A ‘Rakhi–making’ activity was organized for class Nursery and KG where children made Tri-colour Rakhis to commemorate the 75th Independence Day and express their love and respect for soldiers, who are constantly safe guarding us. Our little tiny- tots also visited Sector-5 Police Station to tie rakhi to our Police jawans and conveyed their gratitude. The officers on duty were equally overwhelmed seeing the gesture of these young children and showered blessings on them.Children thoroughly enjoyed this activity that tickled their spirit of patriotism, love and brotherhood.
