6th August 2022 was a day of pride and celebration as Salwan Montessori School completed its glorious and flawless 23 years. The foundation day was celebrated with grandeur, gaiety and enthusiasm. The children, the parents and the teachers were full of energy and left no stone unturned to make the day very special and the event a big hit.
The entire school was decorated like never before and the passion of the students was visible in the rainbow of cultural programs put up by them. The program started with lamp lightening followed by welcome address by Headmistress Ms Sona Gombar and Chairman Mr Paramjit Khanna. The children of KG class then presented a beautiful dance performance. The children also showcased their martial art skills through a Taekwondo presentation. The highlight of the event was the sharing of the experience with SMS sector 5 by two Alumni.
It was a moment of double celebration as we were already busy in the preparations of the 75th Independence Day of India, so to celebrate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav a patriotic theme was kept for the competition to be held for the parents namely Cooking without fire, poster making, best out of waste, rangoli making and fashion show along with a fusion show by the children. The event was a grand success and was highly appreciated by all the participants and esteemed guests
