CBSE has issued a Circular No. CBSE/AFF/CIRCULARS/2013, Circular No- 06/2013, dated-13th March 2013. In compliance to the same, the Committee with composition as under is hereby constituted for the session 2021-22.

Our school believes that a child or young person should never experience abuse of any kind. We have a responsibility to promote the welfare of all children and young people and to keep them safe. We are committed to practice in a way that protects them.

The school seeks to keep children and young people safe by:

  • Providing an enabling environment for children’s, physical, social, emotional, moral and intellectual development
  • Valuing them, listening to and respecting them
  • Be inclusive and involve all children without selection or exclusion on the basis of gender, disability, ethnicity, religion or any other status
  • Adopting child protection practices through procedures and a code of conduct for staff and volunteers
  • Developing special measures/supervision to protect younger and especially vulnerable children from peer and adult abuse
  • Providing effective management for staff and volunteers through supervision, support and training
  • Sharing information about child protection and good practices with children, parents, staff and volunteers
  • Developing clear rules to address specific physical safety issues in the school campus

Responsibilities

  • Appropriate training for staff to address their responsibilities to protect children from abuse;
  • Conduct of police verification of all staff and non-teaching staff like bus drivers, conductors, peon, etc.;
  • Conduct of security/safety audit of school premises and personnel from local police station and follow security related advice including installation of CCTV cameras;
  • Constitution of committees like safety committees to address safety needs of students;
  • Display of members of committee on the school website
