Mental Wellbeing Workshop 2021
“Mental Health is not a destination, but a process. It’s about how you drive and not where you are going”.
In today’s scenario mental health of the people has become a big matter of concern. The youth is dealing with a lot of stress and is finding it difficult to cope with it. In an endeavour to throw more light on importance of Self-care and Mental Health a follow up workshop was conducted for the teachers. The resources persons urged the teachers to share their personal experiences of the pandemic and how it has changed them and their outlook towards life. A lot of interaction happened on topics like accepting situations, self-pride and training of the mind. Also, the importance of resilience, bringing in positivity in our lives and not losing hope was discussed at length.
All the teachers got very comfortable and shared their hearts out. Everyone gave practical inputs and a lot of learning happened. Dealing with poor mental health alone has never been possible for anyone. What mental health needs is more sunlight, more candour and more unashamed conversations. The workshop made everyone realise the value of expression, love, kindness, respect and hope. And how you should always touch the soul of the people around you with your kind gestures and care. The only journey which should be given importance is the journey within.
